Purpose

To collect and analyze data to aid Munster Bovine in making well-informed business decisions.

· Core Responsibilities

· Using tools (Strong focus on Power BI required) and techniques to visualise data in easy-to-understand formats, such as charts, graphs and tables

· Clean, collate, analyse, and interpret data from various sources to support business development.

· Organising and transforming information into comprehensible structures

· Using data to predict trends in the customer base and the consumer population as a whole

· Performing statistical analysis of data

· Preparing reports and presenting these to management and the wider team

· Using an array of data mining techniques to extract information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns

· Identifying and recommending new ways to enhance the business by spotting trends and changing / streamlining business processes

· Monitoring data quality and removing corrupt data

· Communicating with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements

· Applicants for this position must have:

· Degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Maths or Computer Science or equivalent

· A strong understanding of Microsoft PowerBI, and experience developing dashboards

· Experience or knowledge of networks, databases (ERP at a minimum, NetSuite desired) and other technology

· Proficient in Excel

· Knowledge of business intelligence reporting and reporting interface with ERP systems.

· Strong presentation, oral and written communication skills; experience of presenting to internal and external stakeholders

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Results focused; competitive drive and ability to work under pressure

· Ability to prioritise and multi-task within the role.

· Great teamwork skills, to share responsibilities, confer with others, help others do their jobs, and seek help when needed.

· Exposure to Python and/or R languages

· This position will require the candidate to have an onsite presence at our offices in Ballyvorisheen, Mallow. Co. Cork. There will be the opportunity for Hybrid working, 2 days from home and 3 onsite, following the candidate completing their probationary period for the role.
